ON AZEATS.COM We are like a big Italian family – the more the merrier! Well, we have just gotten “merrier” because we have added four new restaurants to AZeats.com. We welcome with open arms these new restaurants…GrainBelt GrillHouse, Ippei Japanese Bistro, SKYE Restaurant and Un Bacio. GrainBelt GrillHouse features grain fed stock, fresh water fish and grainbelt classics harvested with Midwestern traditions. You can expect "Service with Manners". GrainBelt GrillHouse is located at 302 N. Gilbert, Gilbert 480-892-1700. Ippei Japanese Bistro features authentic sushi, Japanese wood-fire grilled steak and seafood as well as signature appetizers and salads. Ippei offers a Happy Hour from 4-7pm everyday featuring several of its' signature menu items for $5 or less. Reservations are recommended. Ippei Japanese Bistro is located at 7000 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, 480-585-7770. SKYE Fine Dining presents contemporary New American cuisine with Chef Scott Tompkins' regional specialties. An eclectic lounge features live entertainment seven nights a week that includes renowned performers Terry & Anne Davies. SKYE is located at 16844 N. Arrowhead Fountain Center Rd., Peoria, 623-334-0010. Un Bacio ('a kiss' in Italian), is a friendly neighborhood ristorante tucked discreetly away in the folds of Gainey Ranch. THEATRE AT LANDMARK Enjoy great food and service while trying to figure out who the murderer is when you attend Dial M for Mystery's Dinner Theater at Landmark Restaurant. | 3. TAPINO IS HOSTING
FLIGHT SCHOOL Flight School will be reaching new heights in the next few weeks when Tapino tastes some grapes that match the season to a "T." They're kicking off June with a blind taste test on June 7th - don't worry though, you don't actually have to wear a blindfold (unless of course you want to!) On June 14th, they'll be sipping and swirling some summer whites during a class called "Beat the Heat." And on June 21st they're going unusual on you, with a class on sparkling reds. If you haven't fallen for these bubbles yet, this is the class for you. As an ode to one of their favorite flicks, on June 28th they're going "Sideways" on a journey to re-discover Pinot Noirs. Flight School is $15 per person and includes four pours and a few small plates the kitchen creates to compliment the sips. Classes start at 6:30pm sharp and reservations are strongly suggested.
