5. CELEBRATE “WAITANGI DAY” AT TAPINO
I bet you are asking “what is Waitangi Day?” So am I. According to Tapino Wine Bar it is a national holiday in New Zealand held on February 6th to celebrate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi (New Zealand’s founding document). Tapino will be celebrating this holiday by serving their New Zealand wines at half price and there is even a free glass for anyone who knows the name of the New Zealand national Soccer team (and why they got that name). Also, by the time the evening is over, there will be a Haka contest on the Vino Lounge – maybe even a prize for the best Haka! Sounds like fun!
