| 3. FOURTH ANNUAL DOUG FLEISHMAN BIRTHDAY BASH Doug Fleischmann was a generous philanthropist and accomplished chef in Colorado. He worked diligently to create two of the finest dining spots in all of Denver: Mizuna and Luca d’Italia. After the tragic death of Mr. Fleischmann, the Doug Fleischmann Scholarship Fund was created to support deserving students who are pursuing a quality career education at Johnson & Wales University in the field of food service management. Doug’s Birthday Bash will take place on Tues., Jan. 9 at participating restaurants throughout Denver Metro Area. During the day, restaurants will donate 15% of all food sales to the scholarship fund, no cost to restaurant guests, all you have to do is eat out!
