3. FOURTH ANNUAL DOUG FLEISHMAN BIRTHDAY BASH
Doug Fleischmann was a generous philanthropist and accomplished chef in Colorado. He worked diligently to create two of the finest dining spots in all of Denver: Mizuna and Luca d’Italia. After the tragic death of Mr. Fleischmann, the Doug Fleischmann Scholarship Fund was created to support deserving students who are pursuing a quality career education at Johnson & Wales University in the field of food service management. Doug’s Birthday Bash will take place on Tues., Jan. 9 at participating restaurants throughout Denver Metro Area. During the day, restaurants will donate 15% of all food sales to the scholarship fund, no cost to restaurant guests, all you have to do is eat out! 4. COOKING PARTY FOR NEW YEARS EVE
Just when you thought you couldn't find anything unique to do on the last night of the year, along comes The Passionate Palette to offer this twist for New Year's eve. Join them in helping to prepare and enjoy a fantastic six course meal complete with all your favorite ingredients (caviar, Foie gras, truffles and chocolate) Dinner will include special wines and sparklers and other favorites of the new year. This is the ultimate in decadent date nights (just as New Years should be) Sunday, December 31st, 8pm, $250 per couple, Reservations required.
