Daniel L. Hendon
Sole Proprietor, Barcelona Restaurants and Danny's Family Companies
Daniel L Hendon, better known as Danny, graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. Just 2 years later he accpeted a position with Art Van Furniture, working his way up to store manager with average gross sales exceeding $12,000,000 and more than 100 employees working for him.
After 10 years with Art Van, Danny relocated to Phoenix where he purchased and renovated Supersonic Car Wash. Located at the northeast corner of Thomas and 32nd Street in Phoenix, the business decision proved successful and Danny's Family Car Wash was born.
Over the next 10 years, Danny has acquired and developed numerous car washes, oil & lube facilities, vehicle and residential window tint, dent repair, convenience stores, and gourmet markets in the Phoenix area. Still committed to growth and excellence, he is planning on opening six more in the next two years.
Danny's love for dining out sparked an unparalleled innovation. The Car Wash King united exceptional cuisine and a venue for entertainment and dancing to create the Barcelona concept. Since it's inception in 2000, Barcelona has won numerous awards in dining, been featured on several nationally recognized television shows and entertains celebrities and locals alike.
Barcelona, currently located at 15440 Greenway-Hayden Loop, is an eclectic dining and entertainment experience. With seating for 787 and an intimate private dining venue, Barcelona has taken Scottsdale by storm providing Old World Cuisine with New World Flavors paired with world class entertainment.
